Manganese Sulfate Monohydrate can be used as a dietary ingredient and as a nutrient.
This product has also been used for the treatment of potable water for radium removal.

It is a raw material for the preparation of drying agents in the paint industry, used as a catalyst in the synthesis of fatty acids, and can also be used as a raw material for papermaking, ceramics, printing and dyeing, ore flotation, electrolytic manganese, and other manganese salt manufacturing.

It is one of the important trace element fertilizers used as a base fertilizer, seed soaking, seed dressing, topdressing, and foliar spraying.
